The Key to Scoliosis Correction

A scoliosis is a curvature of the spine that usually develops early in life around the age of 10-13. The key to correcting scoliosis is to find it early because scoliosis is completely correctable when found before it gets too bad. Get children checked early because if we find a curvature, or any kind of a spinal alignment problem before age 13, we can almost always completely fix it. Spinal curvatures develop most commonly because of an impact or an injury, usually in early childhood or adolescence whether from a sports injury, a fall on the playground, even a fall off a changing table. When one or more of the vertebrae gets dislodged or twisted, and never found or corrected is when spinal scoliosis gets its start.
